2/25/2023

This one was interesting. We only had 3 sets in the show, but we packed a lot into them. First, we had one made up of new releases from all over the place. Then, we did our usual Words of Wisdom set, and finished strong with a set made up somewhat new releases from one of my favorite labels, Swiss Dark Nights.

Also, I basically caught a cold right before starting the show, and if you listen close, you can hear my voice deteriorate throughout the episode. The show aired on Saturday night, and by Munday morning, I was in bad shape and had completely lost my voice. As of this writing, it's Thursday. In the past week, I lost a day of work, went to the doctor, started antibiotics, and still haven't gotten over it. Hopefully, by this Saturday night, I'll have enough of a voice back to actually do the show, ha!

We had a lot of fun with this one! The first set was made up of new releases, and the second set was a ROCKING set of '90's era doom metal. Then, in the second half of the show, I took it back to the old school and played a set of CD's I pulled from our studio library, like I used to do back in the early days of the show. I'm thinking next week we'll be doing more of that kind of thing. Dig it!
