Most of this episode continued our giant catchup of new releases, aside from the last set, which was made up of bands that played Absolution Fest on Saturday night. I also discussed seeing and meeting Priest and Aeon Rings in the week, my thoughts on Saw X, and talked about a crappy encounter in the theatre while seeing The Exorcist on the big screen last week. It was nice to be back after being off for a couple of weeks. With the exception of a few tracks here and there, the show was pretty much made up of entirely new releases. I was joined by a baby DJ in training, DJ Super Neo. In between sets, we discussed Stranger Things, Waffle House, and what hip-hop I should be listening to. It was fun to have a guest in, and I'll be looking forward to his own show when he gets one. I also discussed seeing The Mission, The Chameleons, and Theatre of Hate a couple of weeks ago, as well as my trip to Las Vegas last weekend. Dig it!  

Quick note: The fire alarm went off in the building as we were on air, so I had to fade out the last track and put the station in automation, as security asked us to leave the building. After it was all over, I came back in and hopped on the mic to explain what happened and wrap things up. In the final edit, I cut out all of the automated tracks, so apologies for the weird edit and abrupt ending to the show.

DJ Dub Deezy from One More Saturday night (catch his show before mine 6-8 PM) hung out for the first half hour and we talked about dead celebrities, Barbie, Oppenheimer, our first childhood crushes, and more. This one was pretty eventful! DJ Dub Deezy of One More Saturday Night (the show before mine) joined me for the first 20 minutes or so to discuss aliens, South Carolina cryptids, and all sorts of other paranormal fun. Then, we knocked out loads of new releases, as well a set from another great Darkness Calling compilation called They Mostly Come at Night, all based around the Aliens films.
