This one was a fun one, because I skipped my usual process of planning the show out from beginning to end. Instead, in the first hour, I just winged it and used that time to throw on some of my favorite Batcave and other retro tracks. In the second hour, we worked in another set from the new compilation from Darkness Calling, 'Back from the Grave - Vol 2'. Finally, we honored a request with a short set of German artists, and I ended the show with a rant about how confusing Season 2 of Loki was. I still have no idea what the hell that was about!

THE 2023 RETRO HALLOWEEN SHOW!

This is it, ghosts and goblins! The one we build up to all year. Join us as we flip channels on our TV and radio for a montage of morning shows, news reports, commercials, interviews, late night Halloween specials, and of course, spooky tunes. All on Halloween night in 1980-something! I also gave my thoughts on The Exorcist: Believer and told the story of finally tracking down a collection of horror stories I've been trying to find since I was a kid. It was nice to be back after being off for a couple of weeks. With the exception of a few tracks here and there, the show was pretty much made up of entirely new releases. I was joined by a baby DJ in training, DJ Super Neo. In between sets, we discussed Stranger Things, Waffle House, and what hip-hop I should be listening to. It was fun to have a guest in, and I'll be looking forward to his own show when he gets one. I also discussed seeing The Mission, The Chameleons, and Theatre of Hate a couple of weeks ago, as well as my trip to Las Vegas last weekend. Dig it!  

Quick note: The fire alarm went off in the building as we were on air, so I had to fade out the last track and put the station in automation, as security asked us to leave the building. After it was all over, I came back in and hopped on the mic to explain what happened and wrap things up. In the final edit, I cut out all of the automated tracks, so apologies for the weird edit and abrupt ending to the show.
