In this one, we worked in 2 sets of new releases and a couple of themed sets. One involved bands playing at the WCKD WKND fest in Raleigh, NC this weekend and the other was a tribute set to Roger Corman, who sadly passed away last weekend. (R.I.P.). 3/30/2024 - SPRING 2024 FUNDRAISER SHOW

This one was one of my faves of the year. The fundraiser shows allow us to temporarily suspend our non-Top 40 policy, so the reins came off and I was able to play loads of artists I normally wouldn't have been able to get away with. The theme for the week was "road trips", so all of the tracks pertained to road trips, destinations, and just traveling in general. Dig it!

This one was a little bit of a swtich-up, with no new releases at all. Instead, I dragged out my old CD notebooks and dug into the vault at the station, and we took things back to the Batcave. I did work in a small themed set in the beginning though, dedicated to the passing of my sweet little cat Squeakers. I'll miss that sweet little ball of floof and squeaks. :(
